Food Program
We are committed to serving the Transgender Community
1: The Food Program, provides Safeway Food Cards to those in need of food.
We are providing food to those that are unable to feed themselves or their children. It is true, there is DSHS and their food program. DSHS will Not provide food to those who have nowhere to live.
How we make the difference over DSHS is we fill the gap between those who have the ability to qualify, and those who can’t.
We don’t believe, where you are hungry, and where you eat, should not make the difference of whether, someone eats or not.
By providing Safeway Food Cards. We give the hungry the ability to hold their head high, choose the food they like to eat. Ability to buy their children the food that is right for them.
Baby food is not your staple at the food bank. We believe food banks make a tremendous difference in many lives. But never the less, they to can not provide the essential foods required to feed a family.
They give what is available. We are able to let each family plan their meals, with the ability to choose the right foods.
No one should ever go hungry. No child should ever go to sleep on an empty tummy.
