Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault
We are committed to serving the Transgender Community

2: Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault. Providing (24) Hour support service.
Domestic Violence comes in many ways. We typically think of a man beating his wife, or child. Not true. Domestic Violence come in many forms.
Anytime anyone is in harm way is where our service comes into play. We offer first response.
We receive a call for help. We make sure the victim is safe while we are in route. A call is placed to the SPD, DVU. They will arrive on the scene and make an assessment, at the same time, we are offering comfort, while assisting the victim to safety. If needed they will be transported to the hospital, and we will be at their side.
Once released, we provide shelter, food, and necessary care, until we are able to make the necessary arrangements with NW Network for survivors of abuse. We then provide them with Counseling, through Seattle Counseling Service or KCSAC depending on the severity of the assault.
We will then assist in securing an ongoing counseling program.
